At Claris Virot, we love celebrating the talents of artisans around the world and preserving centuries-old traditions. This is why we are proud to present our exclusive collaboration with Them, a brand committed to perpetuating these ancestral know-how through rare artisanal creations. For this first collaboration, we worked with Them to manufacture Berber-made rugs featuring traditional Balinese patterns, the ikat. d traditions that trace the history oCombining the refinement of traditional Indonesian patterns and the know-how of Berber weavers from the Middle Atlas mountains, Them X Claris Virot rugs highlight the beauty and history of the symbols anf these families. The carpets are woven on the loom using two techniques: that of Kilim where the carpet is woven horizontally, to be differentiated from that of Boujad, more laborious, where the carpet is woven and then knotted. Each Them X Claris Virot rug is a one of kind piece, the union of these worlds and the values of these two creators Clarisse Virot and Marion Pelouzet.
